The Scholarship Committee is please to announce that Annaelise Sluis-Moreno has been selected as the winner of the 2025 WCEA Scholarship! She will be awarded $4,000 for her college expenses. I was born and raised in Reno, Nevada and will be attending UNR as a freshman this fall. I will be majoring in Chemistry, possibly double majoring with biology, as my goal is to become a Criminalist. I&#8217;ve always enjoyed math and science so this will be a perfect fit for me. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, crocheting, sewing, and watching musicals. I&#8217;m also known for my balloon animal artistry.
