Members of the WCEA enjoy the benefits of a full-time labor representative and one of the most skilled and knowledgeable labor attorneys in the State of Nevada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Members also receive immediate representation in&nbsp;grievances, disciplinary actions, layoffs and terminations, plus answers to questions they may have regarding any facet of county employment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A comparison of our&nbsp;basic salary and benefits&nbsp;compared to other government and private sector employees in Washoe County will quickly reinforce how successful the WCEA has been at negotiating employment contracts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also have representation on all major committees and subcommittees including the Insurance Negotiation Committee, Deferred Compensation Committee, Safety Committee, and Job Evaluation Committee.
