With over 7 years with Washoe County, William has been with the WCEA for over 4 years as a Director, Treasurer, Vice President, and now President. William is a passionate advocate for our labor rights and benefits. William has participated in contract negotiations since 2022 with a particular focus on expanding our vacation, parental leave, and most recently, shoring up the implementation of wage studies. William currently works for the Alternate Public Defender’s Office. You can find him on breaks walking around downtown (probably with an orange hat on).

William is an open and warm communicator, an independent thinker, and a willing critic. He loves engaging in conversations and vigorous debate. He’s not afraid to be a lone voice. If you ever have a concern or question, William will either have the answer for you or get back to you with more information ASAP. He enjoys hiking, brewing beer, and helping keep our environment pristine.
